Early Childhood Program (EAP) @ Eidsvold
It’s a known fact that early childhood experiences can impact their future development. Non – indigenous children are less vulnerable then indigenous children. So early childhood learning becomes a foundation for life – long learning in our communities.
At our Eidsvolds EAP’s program, children have access to a stronger and culturally appropriate positive learning environment, , whilst increasing their social, language and development skills, delivered in a locally – led way.
Our program is designed to suit all parents and caregivers and take into consideration their remote rural access to services and resources. Children are able to participate in a community run playgroup and promote numerous ways of learning.
This approach to learning values education and celebrates culture and collaboration for both mainstream and indigenous learning.
This program is available and we welcome Mundubbera and Gayndah children and their care givers from birth to prep also
Play group good news story
Exciting news for our littlest learners—our playgroup has received a wonderful boost with the purchase of brand-new equipment now available to all three towns! The new resources include colourful soft play blocks and mats, engaging toys, and a delightful range of books that are already bringing smiles to children and families across the region.
These additions are designed to support safe, active play and early learning, helping to create warm, welcoming spaces where children can explore, move, and connect. Whether building towers, flipping pages, or diving into imaginative games, there’s something for every child to enjoy.
It’s a fantastic investment in our community’s youngest members, and families are loving the fresh energy and opportunities the new equipment brings. Playgroup just got even better!
